Day 1 – Tbilisi
You will be greeted upon arrival at the Tbilisi airport by ASA Travel DMC Georgia’s assistant, who will transfer you to your hotel in the city center.

Wonderful trip through the windy streets of Old Tbilisi; we will visit historical part of Tbilisi, this district is known as Old Tbilisi; historical Sulfur Bathes, that can be accepted as symbol of the city; main citadel of the city – Narikala fortress, from here we will see unforgettable panoramic view over the city. Visit of beautiful churches, synagogue, and mosque located very close to each other. We will walk on the pedestrian street Sharden, beloved place for local people as lots of cafes, restaurants, clubs and galleries are located here; we will find an old Georgian bread bakery; pass through the main avenue of Tbilisi – Rustavely Avenue and Main Square – Freedom Square. We will see oriental part of Tbilisi and European part, than we will have a look on the districts, which was built during USSR period (Duration of the excursion is 3 ½ hours).
Day 2 - Tbilisi – Signaghi –Bodbe nunnery - Telavi

Signaghi is a picturesque town with the environment of XIX century, surrounded with 4 km city wall. Here one can enjoy panoramic view of Alazani valley (about 60% of grapes grow here) and, if you are lucky, you will see Georgian wedding: Signangi is the only place in Georgia where couple can get married any time of the day and year. This is why Signagi is called: The town of Love. Visit of Signaghi Historical museum and gallery, where pictures of well known Georgian painter Niko Pirosmani’s pictures are exhibited.
Visit of the Bodbe nunnery. Bodbe is surrounded with beautiful nature and lovely yard. Nunnery is known from the IV cc, and is connected with the name of the saint Nino from Cappadocia, whose relics are shrined there. St. Nino was a woman who preached Christianity in Georgia.
Visit of local “marani” (wine-cellar), where Georgin wine is made according to old traditions way of winemaking. There is no analogy for the traditional Georgian wine technology in the world. It involves pressing the grapes in “satsnakheli” (wood winepress), where vine seeds are not damaged and “tkbili” (grape juice) is poured into ideally clean “kvevri” (wine-jar). “Kvevri” is a wine –jar made of clay and is buried in the ground until the top. The main advantage of making wine in the “kvevri” is that temperature of storing wine is almost unchanged from winter to summer.
It is possible to organize cooking master class: backing traditional brad “tonis ouri” in a clay oven and making Georgian sweet “Churchkhela”. It is a string of walnut halves that have been dipped in grape juice thickened with flour and dried in the sun.
Drive to the town Telavi. Accommodation in the hotel or family house. Dinner with tasting Georgian wines.
Day 3 – Telavi
Breakfast in the hotel. H\\D excursion in Tsinandali museum and degustation of wine and Chacha in Wine factory with guide.
Visit of wine factory. Winemaker will guide you through the wine making process in wine factory and offer several sorts of their wine.
Visit of the residence of a well-known Gerogian prince Aleksandre Chavchavadze in Tsinandali.
Aleksandre Chavchavadze - writer, military leader, diplomat, public figure and inventor - was one of the most important figures of his time. Aleksandre Chavchavadze devoted his life to promoting and developing Georgian culture. He is considered to be the founder of Georgian romantic Poetry. Chavchavadze was also the first Georgian noble to produce and bottle Georgian wine according to European methods. His vineyard is still cultivated to this day. Visitors can see a bottle of Saperavi wine from 1839, the first harvest at Tsinandali. There are also 16,500 bottles of other sorts of wines.
The residence is surrounded with beautiful garden that occupies 18 hectares of land.

Day 4 – Telavi - Tbilisi

Visit of Ikalto academy. Late in the 6th century Saint Zenon, one of the \"Syrian Fathers\" founded the Ikalto Monastery 7-8 km west of the town Telavi. The academy, was founded there. Archaeological excavations revealed numerous workshops, wine-cellars, a smithy, store-rooms and other household rooms grouped around the Academy building. The academy of Ikalto trained its students in theology, rhetoric, astronomy, philosophy, geography, geometry chanting, etc.
Visit of Alaverdi Cathedral. Alaveri is the most important and the highest church in Kakhetian region. From the beginning the monastery was founded in the Alavedi, where the monks lived and worked. in the 17-th - 18-th centuries it was turned into the nunnery. There also lived the members of the Royal family, who had taken the monastic vows.
The Alaverdi Cathedral was one of the powerful cultural-educational centers, with a large Library.
Drive to Tbilisi via Gombory pass with beautiful landscapes. Dinner in the restaurant, overnight in the hotel.
Day 5 - Tbilisi
After breakfast and check out you will be transferred to the Tbilisi airport.
