Visit of local “marani” (wine-cellar), where Georgin wine is made according to old traditions way of winemaking. There is no analogy for the traditional Georgian wine technology in the world. It involves pressing the grapes in “satsnakheli” (wood winepress), where vine seeds are not damaged and “tkbili” (grape juice) is poured into ideally clean “kvevri” (wine-jar).  “Kvevri” is a wine –jar made of clay and is buried in the ground until the top. The main advantage of making wine in the “kvevri” is that temperature of storing wine is almost unchanged from winter to summer.
